Since 2003, Raffles Campus Pte. Ltd. (Raffles Campus) has developed tertiary courses all over Asia in collaboration with university partners worldwide. Today, its network consists of campuses located in China, Vietnam, Dubai, India and Singapore. It is the first school to be awarded the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) for Private Education Organisations (PEOs). In September 2006, Raffles Campus was acquired by Emaar Education, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emaar Properties, the world's largest listed real estate firm in terms of assets and market value . Emaar's first international school, Emaar International School, opened in Singapore in January 2007.
Emaar International School (EIS) currently meets the educational needs of 400 students from over 50 different countries. Enrolment is expected to double in the 2008 - 2009 academic year and reach its full capacity of 1,500 students by 2010 to meet the increasing education needs of the children of expatriates relocating to Singapore.
